My Floyd Baby App Puts Mom In
Charge of Scheduling
By Floyd Medical Center
The My Floyd Baby mobile app is a great tool to help
busy moms-to-be and moms who are already directing
health care traffic for their families keep track of
developmental milestones, appointments and other
important information.
The pregnancy tracker shows how much the baby grows
from week to week, the changes mom can expect with
her body and a fetal movement tracker to follow how
often the baby kicks. The app also gives reminders to
register for a childbirth class, schedule a hospital tour at
Floyd Medical Center and to make a prenatal visit with
Floyd Pediatrics. Moms-to-be can also use the app to
monitor baby, toddler and child development.
“This is a great tool for helping expecting
mothers track important dates,
but it also helps moms keep an eye on
the entire family”
The Learn Library
provides useful health
information for the
entire family, ranging
from topics on adult
health and wellness to
topics that focus on
the teen years.
“This is a great tool
for helping expecting
mothers track
important dates, but it
also helps moms keep
an eye on the entire
family,” said Kellie
Pearson, Director of Women and Children’s Services at
Floyd. “Moms are often the ones who schedule health
visits for everyone, and this app helps them do just that.”
