Bijou has been the Camp Twin Lakes
therapy dog since 2018 and full-time
companion of her owner, Jill
Morrisey, CEO of Camp Twin Lakes.
Her main jobs are to be a friend to all
campers (especially if they’re feeling
‘less than golden’), inspire them to
try new tricks, nuzzle campers who
may be homesick, and stay by their
side to help them cope while they
receive medical treatments. Camp
Twin Lakes currently serves 10,000
campers annually and provides
scholarships to 100 percent of
campers through a donor-funded
Camper Scholarship Program so that
no child is ever turned away due to
inability to pay. Visit camptwinlakes.
