Stan Ellis Thank God for His intervention in lives (“Saving Grace and Transforming Power” in the April
issue). Kenny Martin is a man with a loving heart. He and Estelle are wonderful pastors.
Donna Miller The church is inside and outside. God has been calling us for a while now to embrace that
and recognize the osmosis happening around us as we obey and recognize the power of relationships
benefited for the kingdom.
Dan Goddard If you are looking for a good way to restart services and maintain social distancing don’t
laugh off the Drive In Church. With an FM transmitter you can do outdoor theater services that can be
fun and even a bit like an old tent revival meeting. Robert Schuller’s concept will play well for a time
like this. We just change the tech out with modern FM transmitters and you have yourself a Drive In
Church service.
Brett Heintzman Let’s talk about “first love” today. Has this season of quarantine, senseless death,
and high emotions help us recenter ourselves on God as our first love? How are you learning this?
Lisa Lahring I think we can see that God was way out ahead of us by preparing us with all kinds of
technology to make sure we stay connected. We can see each other through video; we can order
groceries online; we have all kinds of entertainment on our TVs; etc.
Brent Hall The Spirit is definitely moving among His people. This was the prayer of my heart, the first
thing on my mind when I woke up this morning. I want to be ready when He comes again!
Merry Kendall I’m spending much more time in God’s word, especially in the Old Testament. I’m taking
time to notice all the loving things that God did to the rebellious Israelites. It is His nature to love and
care for His people. Thank you, Lord.
Carlene Nisley I’ve felt the peace that I am not alone being reinforced to me (again). I’m realizing that
from the social media platform the message of how God has changed my life (and the lives of those I
pastor) becomes an opportunity to share our stories of our first love and the way our lives have been
changed because Jesus is with us.
B.T. Roberts It may be that Divine truths do not affect you as they once did, because you have lost your
interest in Divine things. The failure of sermons to touch you may be owing to your own hardness of
heart. It is possible that even you have lost your first love. It will do no harm to look into the matter.
