Spring Break Travels
Shaker Heights High School students
traveled to Greece, Costa Rica, and
Morocco over spring break, sharing their
talents, extending compassionate hearts,
and reaching across cultures. Indeed, our
students are citizens of the world.
Spanish Immersion Trip – Costa Rica
Eleven Shaker Heights High School
students traveled to Costa Rica over
spring break. The students experienced
the rainforest, two cloud forests, a

Service Trip – Morocco
Sixteen students from Shaker Heights
High School traveled to Morocco for
an immersion and service experience.
The students spent four nights in
the remote village of Zawiya Ahansal
in the Atlas Mountains, where they

English tutoring, helping to construct a
community center wall, and planting a
portion of the town’s community garden.
