16 WINTER 2020 | WWW.SHAKER .LIFE
n Thanks to the hard-working crew! We love Shaker!
n We are truly blessed to live in Shaker Heights… a great community!
Last September,
a severe thunderstorm
with winds up to
90 mph tore through
Shaker Heights,
toppling trees and
leaving thousands
of residents without
power. City crews worked
around the clock to clear
roadways, while neighbors
– in true Shaker spirit –
helped each other.
These Facebook posts
tell the story.
n Kudos to the Shaker Heights service
department. They were at my house this
morning with a chainsaw and crew. They
cleaned up everything from the storm
that was on
my tree lawn
including some
huge stumps.
Nice work!!
n The crews are
doing such an
amazing job –
thank you so
much!
