friend. Are you treating the Holy Ghost the
same way, or would He say you are a good
friend to Him? Are you reliable, dependable
and there when He needs you?
Your relationship with the Holy Ghost can’t
be one-sided, or you will grieve Him to the
point where He will move away from you.
You must always be sensitive to the move of
the Spirit; but if self is on the throne, the Holy
Ghost will take a back seat in your life.
The disciples knew the importance of having
a relationship with the Holy Ghost, and
it brought them much joy. And the disciples
were filled with joy, and with the Holy
Ghost (Acts 13:52). Being filled with the
Holy Ghost and being full of the Holy Ghost
are two different things. When you receive
the Holy Ghost, you are filled with Him; but
when you are full of the Holy Ghost, you are
completely yielded to Him, and He can have
His way with you all the time.
When you receive the baptism of the
Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking
in tongues, that is just the beginning. The
Bible tells us that the Holy Ghost will be our
teacher, our guide and our comforter; but
what good is it to have a teacher if you are
not willing to listen to Him? What good is it
to have a guide if you are not willing to follow
Him, or to have a comforter if you are not
willing to let Him comfort you in your time
of need?
The more you yield to the Holy Ghost, the
more He will be able to teach you, guide you
and comfort you. That is why it is essential for
the Holy Ghost to be living and dwelling on
the inside of you.
Be Full of the Holy Ghost
For he Barnabas was a good man, and
full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and
much people was added unto the Lord (Acts
11:24). Because Barnabas was full of the Holy
Ghost, he had divine faith and divine love
working in him; and he won many souls.
When you have divine compassion for lost
souls, people will see that compassion and
the love you have for their soul. Finally, be
ye all of one mind, having compassion one
of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be
courteous (I Peter 3:8).
The disciples had love and compassion for
lost souls; and the Bible says, And the hand
of the Lord was with them: and a great
number believed, and turned unto the
Lord (Acts 11:21). When you are yielded to
the Holy Ghost, the hand of the Lord will be
upon you too. He will give you a burden for
lost souls, and He will manifest His fruits in
your life.
Barnabas and Paul prayed, fasted and gave
their lives completely into the hands of the
Lord. They were focused on souls and yielded
to the Holy Ghost, and the Spirit used them
in a great way. The harvest field of lost souls
belongs to the Holy Ghost, and God has
ordained Him to reap the harvest through
people; so the Holy Ghost was directing
Barnabas and Paul.
The Holy Ghost is still directing God’s children
today to bring in the harvest, and He has
made souls ready to receive. The Holy Ghost
is making people realize that something is
missing in their lives, and He is sending us
to let them know that Jesus is the one they
are missing. All we have to do is let the Holy
Ghost direct us to those souls.
The Spirit Must Dwell Within
The Holy Ghost will enable you to serve
divine love, and that is what this world needs.
Paul had that divine love; and he wrote, That
ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May
be able to comprehend with all saints what
is the breadth, and length, and depth, and
height; And to know the love of Christ,
which passeth knowledge (Ephesians 3:17–
19). It is wonderful when the Holy Ghost can
flow to you the same divine love Jesus delivered
when He was on Earth.
The Holy Ghost will make the price Jesus
paid for you a reality when you are full of
Him. He will produce His fruits in your life
and make you complete. The Holy Ghost will
use God’s ultimate anointing through you,
but that anointing has to be in your soul for
Him to be able to use it. If you don’t have the
Holy Ghost living and dwelling on the inside
of you, you will never have the fullness of
divinity in your life.
If you want to please God, you must be
baptized in the Holy Ghost with the evidence
