5 Ways to Become
Your Spouse's Best Friend
When you stood in front of your friends and family members on your
wedding day, you gazed into your true love's eyes and promised to love him
forever. When the wedding ended, however, things started to get a little
tougher than you may have expected. Once reality sinks into a relationship,
keeping things spicy, exciting, and passionate can be difficult. One of the
best things that any man or woman can do for their marital relationship is to
focus on developing the friendship portion of the marriage.
Being best friends with your spouse has many benefits. After all, what
better way to enjoy your favorite things than with a best friend who knows
everything about you and who loves you anyway? What better way to develop

spouse and to simply enjoy their company.

you about the fantastic deals she found. While you might not feel interested
in what she's saying, it's important to realize that what she's talking about is
important to her. Show her just how valuable she really is to you by learning
to listen even when you don't want to.
How can you become a better listener? Start slowly. Be attentive when your
spouse talks to you. Nod your head to show that you're listening. Note that
you should be casual about this. You don't need to look like an overexcited
