The family-owned cosmetology school, Educators of Beauty, offers
three Illinois locations and has been serving students for 45 years.
With a rich history of success in the beauty education business, the
school, under new ownership since 2015, has an even brighter
future ahead.
Mark and Angie Clevenger purchased EOB in June of 2015 after
serving the professional beauty industry in various capacities for
over 20 years. When the opportunity presented itself, it was a
natural fit – both have a deep passion for the industry and were
very motivated to influence future generations in the beauty industry.
Improvements & updates
While the school had a strong foundation, the Clevengers identified
the following areas to improve and grow to better serve their
students.
1. Student Kit now includes the industry’s best Pivot Point
mannequins along with Pivot Point tools and professional grade
shears, which can be used through the beauty professionals’ career.
2. Business development – with the addition of professional
business development, new stylists gain insight into best practices
that are always evolving. By teaching how to create an exceptional
guest experience, students build and transform a student’s passion
of artistry into a successful salon career.
3. MUD makeup – by adding the professional makeup artistry
line MUD, cosmetology students build makeup foundations and
