DuPont™ Tyvek® Protective Garments White DuPont™ Tyvek® Protective Garments are composed of flash spun high-density polyethylene which creates a unique, nonwoven material that provides an ideal balance of protection, durability and comfort of any limited-use fabric technology. Tyvek fabric offers an inherent barrier to small size particles. Protection is built into the fabric itself; there are no films or laminates to abrade or wear away. Tyvek fabric’s durability advantage over microporous film fabrics delivers consistently better barrier, even after wear and abrasion. Applications include: lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance/operations, spray painting, general clean-up, agriculture and food processing. Every Tyvek garment features the comfort fit design which enables a greater range of movement while stretching and bending, improves mobility with more room throughout the back, provides a more tailored fit, is easier to get on and take off and reinforced in high-stress areas for fewer blowouts. When worn over thermally protective coveralls, Pyrolon Plus 2 Coveralls can reduce predicted body burn injury and comply with NFPA 2113 standards. Pyrolon Plus 2 material is breathable, making this a cool and comfortable garment to wear. Specifically treated to be oil and water repellant, Pyrolon Plus 2 Coveralls can be used in work environments where hazardous or non-hazardous contaminants may be present and are the perfect solution where environmental and health-related contaminants are a concern. Pyrolon Plus 2 quality standards meet ANSI/ISEA 101 and feature strong, stress-resistant sewn seams for added durability.
