Wireless Phasing Meter Meter is a battery powered, 2-piece wireless phasing tool, used to determine phase relationships on 3-phase power systems, overhead and URD (underground residential distribution) applications. When contact is made with line voltage or elbow test points, the Phase-Tell III units compare transmitted data and then displays results via red or green LED lights and differentiated audible signals. Flashing green lights indicate In-Phase. Flashing red lights indicate Out-of-Phase. Units are identical and can communicate up to 300' apart. Voltage range from URD test points to 500 kV. Features include rugged extruded aluminum enclosure, auto shut-off and operates on two AA batteries which are included. Item # DESCRIPTION UOM Price 6722 Wireless phasing meter with carrying case Ea $4,292.52 6722 Digital Voltage Phasing Meter Phasing meter can be used in measuring overhead and underground voltages with 3 modes of operation, AC, Hi-Pot and DC. Hi-Pot mode is used for testing URD (underground residential distribution) cable and mode bar graph marks the peak voltage while being charged. Meter has a 0-4 kV DC range and reads to the nearest 100 volts. Unit has a large digital display with a lighted background that can be switched on by operator. Meter is enclosed in high quality, rugged extruded aluminum. The coiled, self-retracting cable is 16" retracted and 10' when fully extended. Unit includes digital volt meter, conductor hooks, carrying case, batteries, and instructions. Eight-position rotary switch selects detection range. As the sensor is moved closer to voltage carrying conductor, its sensor head picks up the radiated electric field. Once threshold is reached, the buzzer sounds and a bright red warning light warns operator of live conductors. Powered by 3 standard Alkaline C cell batteries and can be used both in- and out-of-doors. A universal spline on the back-end facilitates attachment to any standard hotstick. Self-test position ensures that all sensor circuitry and annunciators are working properly before use. Detector features a wide range of detection from 80 V to 275 kV. It is lightweight, minimizing sway at the end of long hotsticks and has both audible and visual indication of live voltage. Self-test position ensures that all system functions and indicators are working properly. Detector is designed for use with hotsticks incorporating a shotgun adapter. Shotgun adapter and batteries included.
