Hotstick wax is a high grade carnuba wax specially formulated for fiberglass finishes, and provides a hard, tack-free weather-resistant finish. Hotstick wipes remove contamination such as dirt, oils and creosote. Leaves a silicone moisture barrier enabling water to bead up, eliminating the blanket effect when using hot sticks in wet conditions. The LitFinger features a built-in unbreakable 1-watt LED light sealed behind a borosilicate window which resists heat and arc blast, tested at 7" from the 12" arc, and a HI-LOW switch for increased battery life. The water-resistant battery compartment includes a sealed silicone rubber push button with a “no tools required” battery compartment door. It has the features of a universal disconnect. The first arm is straight with a pointed head for breaking ice or debris off of the fuse. Directly behind the pointed head is a notch to hold the fuse securely on the LitFinger while lowering and raising the fuse into position. The opposite arm is curved to allow hanging of the LitFinger. Also available is the LitLink™, an in-line light which can be connected to hotstick tools. Universal splined slotted connector attaches to pole pigtail disconnect, broken bulb remover, bulb biter, saw, tie head, conductor cleaner brush, tree trimmer, etc. To allow attachment to all major hotstick manufacturers, the LitFinger and LitLink feature standard splined universal slotted connectors. Lightweight aluminum body weighs only 6.8 ounces. Waterproof to 1 meter. Runs on three (3) AAA alkaline or lithium (cold weather use) batteries. Passed 3000 V, 8000 A, 1/2 sec (30 cycles) arc blast test. Sold individually.
