TK-10NS Insulated Tool Kits Every insulated hand tool is rated up to 1,000 VAC and dielectrically tested at 10,000 VAC. These tools meet or exceed current ASTM F1505-07 and IEC 900 standards for insulating hand tools and will help you to be compliant with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subpart S and NFPA 70E. The insulating material used is impact-resistant and flame-retardant. The orange/black two-color insulation makes inspection easier which adds to the overall safety of the workers. If the yellow under layer is showing, the tool may no longer be insulated properly and should be considered for electrical retesting. Sold by the set. They utilize the same impact-resistant insulating material as the traditional full line of insulated hand tools. The insulating material is flame-retardant and created with two-colors (blue and yellow), making inspection and replacement easier, similar to the insulated tool kits. Each of these tools are rated for exposure up to 1,000 VAC and dielectrically tested at 10,000 VAC, meeting or exceeding ASTM 1505-07 and IEC 900 standards. They are necessary for compliance with OSHA 1910.333 (c)(2) and NFPA, and also meet CSA-2462 standards. Sold individually.
