Voltgard® Rubber Insulating Blankets Voltgard® Rubber Insulating Blankets are manufactured from exclusive Voltgard rubber formulations for maximum dielectric strength, durability, and flexibility and provide the most flexible, versatile protection from accidental and incidental contact with energized lines, energized equipment, and irregularly shaped line hardware. Select Type I natural rubber blankets for lower-cost, short term cover-up. Select Type II EPDM synthetic rubber blankets for maximum resistance to ozone and UV for extended outdoor use. Manufactured and tested in accordance with ASTM D1048 as required by OSHA. Slotted style blankets are ideal for wrapping around irregularly shaped equipment such as ridge pins or cross-arms with insulators. Durable spring-type blanket clamps and zip-strip blankets straps are ideal for securing blankets in position - see pages 216-217.
