V00HA-2V Eclipse™ Class 3 Arc Flash and Flash Fire Apparel The Tingley Eclipse™ features a revolutionary Quad-Hazard™ protection that offers high visibility, liquid-proof and arc flash and flash fire protection all in one, while also providing chemical resistance to many acids, oils, alcohols, salts and alkalis. Made from a fluorescent material that is 11.3 oz./yd2 FR PVC on non-woven Nomex® with Thermo-Grid™ technology, the Eclipse garments have an 8.7 cal/cm2 arc rating and meet NFPA-70E HRC 2, ANSI/ISEA 107 Class 3, Level 2, ASTM F1891 and ASTM F2733 standards. The Eclipse is designed to meet the demands of workers that may be exposed to momentary electric arc or flash fire hazards including electric and gas utilities, power generation, pipeline and construction work and petrochemical applications. Thermo-Grid technology helps block out heat energy, while the flame-resistant PVC coating on Nomex® provides 100% liquid-proof protection with soft, lightweight comfort. The jacket features a set-in sleeve construction with full-cut shoulder and 180° sleeve-to-body angle, 2” silver reflective tape that reflects light for 360° nighttime conspicuity; Therm-O-Rad seams for 100% waterproof protection; full flame-resistant corduroy collar with roll-a-way hood for comfort and convenience; zipper/storm fly front with snap closure and hidden hardware that seals out heat, wind, rain and contaminants; oversized 3-piece hood with adjustable hook-and-loop take-up strap for a safe fit; non-conductive, non-corrosive hardware; full vented cape back for improved air circulation and D-ring access for fall protection harness.
