A faded Miller Brothers
Department Store billboard
points shoppers to the rear
entrance. The paint either
covered, or was covered by an
old McDonald Brown sign that
appeard to be twice the size at
one time. The signs are on the
parking lot side of the building
at E. 1st Street and E. 3rd
Ave. facing the rear entrances
of Harvest Moon Cafe and
Rome Civic Ballet.
The former Double
Cola bottling plant,
419 E. 2nd Ave.,
now houses Vargo
Orthodontics.
The building that now houses Pro
Performance, 100 Broad St., has not one,
but two restored Coca-Cola signs. One near
the rooftop intersecting Broad Street, and the
other along E. 1st Avenue.
