Square Edge-Single
Pleiger’s most common squeegee profile, 70A Durometer squeegee is used in a wide variety of printing applications on many different substrates.
70A Durometer
The most popular squeegee for textile printing for both manual and automatic presses. Plei-Tech 22 polyurethanes perform well using plastisol,
water-base and less aggressive UV and solvent based ink that have a lesser effect on squeegees.

SQUEEGEE DUROMETER SELECTION GUIDE
Durometer (Duro) is the measurement of hardness/softness of squeegee blade.
60 Duro SOFT Flexes more thus pushing more ink through lower mesh counts. Printing on fleece, athletic garments, thicker ink deposits
70 Duro MEDIUM Great for general purpose textile printing
80 Duro HARD Blade sheers ink off at stencil. Higher mesh counts for more detailed printing like process, jacket or sign graphics and thinner ink deposits
TIP: RESHARPENING SQUEEGEE BLADES
Squeegee blades can be resharpened with either a belt sander, grinding wheel, diamond wheel, hot knife, cold cutting blade, or rotating blade. To
achieve best results, squeegees should always be dry and free of solvents for at least eight hours prior to attempting to sharpen or grind.
D a v e's Ti p
When grinding, the best sharpening results are achieved by removing 0.005" using 180 grit. After 3 to 5 passes, advance the wheel 0.005" and repeat.
Continue this process until the desired edge is obtained.
