Reflections of Grace
Joshua Barnett We are in one of the poorest
communities in Indiana. We are committed to
helping people in any way we can. We offer
food pantries and a very active benevolence
fund that helps with everything from rent
to gas. We see the unwanted and the
downtrodden and we love them as Christ calls
us to.
Patricia Hale Robey Here are scriptures that
support “love God, love people and make
disciples”: Mark 12:30–31; Matthew 28:18–
20. I believe that as Christians, we need to
take God at His Word. Then we can love and
care about people. In making disciples, every
day we are letting our light shine.
Julie Olson Reid I lead online (Facebook)
inductive Bible studies. This approach has
brought many women together from around
the world, who are hungry to know more
from God’s Word. I have led quite a few
adult Sunday School classes at church. These
seem to have gone out of style, but I sense
that people are eager for them. And NOW is
the perfect time to introduce others to online
Bible study!
David Turner Might I coin the phrase,
“vidcarnational”? I have a feeling this might
have to become a thing more and more.
Jennifer Lien Loved this article “The Naked
Truth: Moving From Secondhand to Firsthand
Faith” by Dave Kenny! Thank you! It seems
especially significant during these times we’re
in with COVID-19. We need to be firsthand
followers of Jesus and lead by example!
