Lois Kiger Thank you, Brett, for your great editorial
(“Safe Sex Surrender” in the May issue)! I like how
you said, “There’s safety in surrender” — hurting
and confused people need to hear that. I’m so
thankful that we have a loving and caring God,
who clearly tells us His beauty and purpose for
sex. Without His wisdom and knowledge, chaos
occurs — unwanted pregnancies, single parents,
abortions, divorce, pornography, sex trafficking,
disease that spreads, and mental anguish. Since
God talked about it, the church cannot ignore the

a teenage girl in our church was pregnant. Her
parents, although Christians, had never talked to
her about sex. She asked why the church hadn’t
talked about it either. It’s about time we had these

The Pill will be 60 years old on May 9th and so
began the sexual revolution of the 60s and 70s.
We should talk about these things in the church.

Comment of the Month
This new issue of Light and Life Magazine is
very timely for me as I have been mulling these
things over much in my mind lately. Thank you
for dealing with these topics and continuing to
spread Scriptural Holiness throughout the land.
