Our Tilt Columns are available in paintable mill or polished stainless finishes. We also offer steering wheel adapters, and convenient Column Installation Kits for mounting. Mustang Column Install Kits Long Shaft FR200MUKT Short Shaft FR200MUKT2 67-70 Mustang Swivel Floor Mount FR20101M7 See pg 91 65 Mustang Convertible 65 Mustang Fastback • Bend tabs inward on new floor bracket and slide over column tube. • Use your original dash support (Fig 1) to hold the column under the dash and tighten the two support nuts. (Fig 2) (Note: you must first place a shim that is included in your installation kit between the support and the column to ensure a tight fit), • Make sure that the column is straight before securing column. • Mark the location of the tabs on the column using a center punch or scribe (Fig 3), then remove the column from the car and drill a small pilot hole for each screw (Fig 4). • Fasten the new floor mount to the column by using the screws provided with the hardware kit then reinstall the steering column into the car.
