2004
Jeanette’s business is built on
“The customer who buys our
products will receive the best
products possible at a fair
price”. We are proud and we
believe in USA Built to Last
and Last. No matter what it is
it has to look great too!
2005
Flaming River continues to move forward always working
towards new products for Racing, Hot Rods, Muscle
Cars and Classic trucks and cars. In 2005, we committed
ourselves to developing our own Power Rack and Pinion.
The industry for years had been using rebuilds and the
supply of cores was clearly not the future. We built the first
of its’ kind “New Hot Rod Power Rack and Pinion”.
The new rack and pinion was fitted to our 65-70 Mustang
Rack and Pinion Cradle Kit with full turning radius and 6-1/8”
of travel. It’s one of a kind. We build them, test them and
yes, they are repairable. All built in the USA in Berea, Ohio.
2006
Buying a Hot Rod, building
a Hot Rod or repairing
a Hot Rod is for many
a dream. Having a 32
Roadster is just American.
Our Roadster is unique in many ways. First, it is a rack and
pinion straight-axle car uniquely designed with Flaming
River Electric Steering. The Dominator front axle is LS
powered and with all Flaming River steering it is a run-wild
test car to be sure - part of the Flaming River family and
often on display at shows and parked in our showroom. The
first to have electric steering.
2008
Not all Hot Rods are
cars. At Flaming River,
we feel Hot Rods
have no Limits. This
one was completely
built at Flaming River
by Flaming River
employees. We truly
enjoyed it and it’s the only Hot Rod we ever sold. We know
it went to a good home in 2018.
Flaming River History
2015
As mentioned earlier,
our goal is to build
our products here
at Flaming River. In
2015 we added our
first Robot “Rosie” to
help with our welding
processes. In 2018,
we will add our second
robot “Charlie” to help with our machine shop. Creativity
and Technology will lead to the future of our company.
2016
We remodeled our showroom, including a new Hot Rod
themed mural. 2016 is also the year we were honored with
the Street Scene Manufacturer of the Year award.
2018
Since the beginning, Jeanette
Ladina, President and owner of
Flaming River has strived to build
her company with quality and
performance in mind for the benefit
of the customer. She participates
within various organizations
SEMA, HRIA and at events such
as NSRA and Goodguys.
The company has been honored
with several New Product Wins and
Jeanette was honored to be named Goodguys 2004 Woman
of the Year. In 2018 SEMA Town Hall was held at Flaming
River Industries which allowed people to participate and
learn about our Industry as well as connect with each other
and tour our facility. Flaming River pushes the envelope by
receiving ISO 9000:2008 Certification and Environmental
Standards 14001:2004. The goal is quality product for a
satisfied customer. You can be sure that if it doesn’t say
Flaming River, it’s just not good enough.
