What is Cobb’s best kept secret?
FACTBOOK 2020 13
“Tiny Bubbles. I go there literally like
five times a week. The atmosphere is
really nice and it’s the best place to get
boba, Vietnamese tea, and the staff is
really friendly. I get Earl Grey lavender
and I get the tapioca.”
- Nataly Reyes, Powder Springs,
nurse
“Henry’s Louisiana Grill in downtown
Acworth. I just think it’s one of the best
food spots around in Cobb County in
general, and I’ve lived here all my life.
… I get the chicken ooh la la.”
- Michael Curtis, Kennesaw,
sales support
“Cool Beans. Just the art they put in
there from the local artists and just the
environment, the vibes that all the girls
and guys that work there bring. I always
get the same thing, and it’s actually not
even on the menu. It’s a Spanish mocha,
I get it with almond milk and it’s great.
It tastes almost like Nutella.”
- David Love, Marietta,
works for Save the Children
“Ege Sushi. It’s off 120 near Wheeler
High School. It’s a really great sushi
place. It’s small, but it’s really delicious,
really cost-efficient. They know my
order when I walk in at this point because
we’ve been in so many times.
It’s the sushi special with a spicy tuna
roll and usually a hot sake. They know
when I come in that’s what I’m getting.”
- Carey Lynch, east Cobb,
high school teacher
“It’s clearly that little ice cream shop off
the Square, Sweetreats. Best ice cream
anywhere, and we’ve eaten ice cream all
over the world. Our favorite flavor is the
vanilla ice cream with pistachios and
coconuts. It’s awesome.”
- Marc Moskowitz, east Cobb,
dentist
“Junior League of Marietta is Cobb
County’s best-kept secret. We’re involved
in the community, we participate
in lots of nonprofits and we give back to
our community and we live here as well,
so we’re invested in it.”
- Tammy Thorpe, Marietta,
real estate agent
