From the bride:
Josh and I met eight years ago through some mutual friends. After
our first date, we were pretty much inseparable. We got engaged on
New Years Eve in 2016 in Islamorada, Fla. and it was PERFECT! We
love the Keys and travel there and to south Florida frequently, so it
could not have been a better place for Josh to ask me to marry him.
We were engaged for two years and four months because we could
not find the right venue for us. We probably looked at every venue in
the north Georgia/Atlanta area - we even discussed getting married
in Mexico or the Dominican Republic. We were all over the place! I
finally got an idea to look at Savannah and that is when we found
Ships Of The Sea Maritime Museum and we fell in love. We love
Savannah for the old Southern charm feel and the mossy trees. We
wanted a spring wedding, so we waiting another year, lol! However,
it was so worth it. Our wedding day was perfect. The day was
absolutely beautiful - not a cloud in the sky and the temperature was
perfect. We got married at 5:30 in the evening in front of all our
family and friends. We danced the night away in the gardens. We
exited our reception in a Savannah pedicab. We honeymooned in
Mexico and came back to start the next chapter of our lives together.
We now live in Acworth with our dog, Doc.
