BRETTCARE
Brett Faucett is what you might call a “regular guy.” Husband. Father. Businessman. But like a lot
of guys, Brett wasn’t all that regular about seeing his doctor (even though his wife nudged him
to go for years). Tragically, Brett was struck by not one, but two heart attacks. At age 39, Brett
survived a widowmaker cardiac arrest thanks to emergency surgery at Wellstar Kennestone
Regional Medical Center. Then, a second attack hit two years later while he was on a plane
flying home to Atlanta. An ambulance raced Brett to Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center, where
another world-class surgical team saved his life once again. Now, Brett challenges guys like him
to get heart healthy—even if it means giving up “regular guy” foods like steak. No two people
named Brett are exactly alike, and at Wellstar, we would never treat them that way.
