Teaching Strategies
Each of the components included in this kit can be used
independently as needed for their intended purpose or in
a sequence. You may first introduce students to fractions,
decimals and percents and their relationship using the Visual
Learning Guides, followed by students practicing with the
fraction tiles hands-on activities.

The tile sets provide both a physical and visual representation of fractions,
decimals and percents and can be utilized for performing operations,
identifying equivalent fractions to decimals and percents and developing basic
