born, and miracles are a way of life here; so
getting a miracle for my toenails sounded like
a good deal to me. We prayed; and about two
weeks later, my toenails were growing straight
just like the nails on my other toes. I was so
happy; it was better than Christmas. Everything
What Do You See in the Mirror?
by Steve Millar
What do you see in the mirror? Is it an
image of yourself or an image of Jesus? The
mirror is an enemy for many people, especially
if they are unhappy with their appearance,
because they know that no matter how
long they stand in front of that mirror, the
image is not going to suddenly change. But
have you ever thought of looking into God’s
spiritual mirror to see how you look in His
eyes? God’s mirror doesn’t focus on your
physical attributes; it focuses on your spiritual
attributes, and the only reflection you should
see in that mirror is Jesus.
The Word of God is our spiritual mirror; but
if you never study the Word or spend time with
Jesus, the devil will deceive you into thinking
you look good when you don’t. I’m sure you
have experienced a time in your life when you
had something on your face, but you didn’t
know it until you looked in the mirror. You
went about your day thinking things were
fine and everything was going well because
no one had the courage to tell you that you
had something on your face.
As embarrassing as a situation like that is, it
is much more important to never let anything
blemish your spiritual appearance; yet many
people are more concerned about their physical
appearance than they are their spiritual
appearance. They think life would be so much
better if they looked like someone else or had
a perfect body, but those things don’t matter
to God. He looks on the heart, and that is
what matters to Him. The Bible says, Whose
adorning let it not be that outward adorning
of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of
gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let
it be the hidden man of the heart, in that
which is not corruptible, even the ornament
of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the
sight of God of great price (I Peter 3:3,4).

I had been taught as a child was manifested
in that miracle.
That one miracle set a foundation for the
rest of my life. You can get so much strength
from just one miracle because you can draw
on it again and again. It lets you know that
God loves you and wants to take care of you.
The next miracle I want to tell you about happened
around September of 2016. I was having
some physical problems where my legs were
becoming weak; and sometimes, I stumbled
when I was walking. To get out of a chair, I
would have to use my arms to push myself up;
and my thighs would ache. Sometimes, the
muscles and the nerves in my legs were so
weak that I could barely move.
I went before you for prayer, and you said
there was more than one thing wrong with
me. Then you told me to take it all. I was sitting
in the back of the church about a week or
two after that; and when I started to get up, I
just sprang right up and walked off. Suddenly,
it hit me that I had received my miracle, and I
had not even realized it. It was amazing!
God has been really good to me and my
family down through the years. I would like
to thank you, Rev. Angley, for everything you
have done for us. I surely appreciate it, and I
am very thankful.
