TOGETHER FOR FAMILIESRibbon Cutting
Advocates for Children launched an innovative resource center in
Kennesaw to prevent unnecessary foster care removal. Together for
Families helps keep loving families safely together who are struggling with
poverty and identified by the Division of Family and Children’s Services.
Since launching on April 20, Together for Families has received 50
referrals for families with child welfare involvement and is serving close to
150 children with their resource center.
The center serves Cobb and Bartow County and requires a referral
from a child welfare agency. The center is open for donations Monday,
Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the first Sunday of the
month at 1301 Shiloh Road, Unit 850 Kennesaw, GA 30144. For questions,
