four children and 11 grandchildren,
hosting family parties,
vacations, and frequent visits.
“This is the hub for our family,”
says Schmitt. “We take the
kids out on the pontoon and
just cruise the lake. That never
gets old.”
But Charlie and Connie wanted
their lakefront property
to stand out as a botanical
paradise, contributing to the
already breathtaking views
outside their windows.
After moving in, the couple
sought the help of a local
landscaping company out of
Loganville to pick a variety
of flowers, plants, shrubs and
trees that would be conducive
to the land as well as visually
dazzling.
To achieve this goal, the
couple settled on an inventive
horticulture design for their
