At a small get-together at a friend’s
house, she met Patty Layson and
the two hit it o, talking about
ways to connect with other neighbors.
Layson, a retired teacher, had
moved to Madison the year before
with her hustband, Frank, from the
Virginia Highlands neighborhood
of Atlanta. She was already familiar
with the struggle during the
shutdown.
Afer bringing up the idea of a
supper club one too many times in
subsequent interactions, they decided
to make it happen. And Hyatt
knew of the perfect person to rope
into the budding concept.
Amanda Archambault, a young
interior designer from nearby Social
Circle, had recently opened a shop
with her mother at the beginning
of 2020 – Archambault Interiors in
downtown Madison.
Hyatt met the like-minded
designer after popping into her
shop during a Shop, Sip & Stroll
