with every secret thing, whether
it be good, or whether it be evil
(Ecclesiastes 12:14).
God Saw the Israelites’ Sin
Every story in the Bible was retold
by the Holy Ghost in the ear of the
writer, so we can learn from them.
Moses wrote the first five books in
the Bible, and he definitely wasn’t
present when Adam and Eve sinned
against God; so how did he know
what took place? The Lord revealed it
to him just like He revealed the Ten
Commandments to Moses when he
was up on Mount Sinai.
While Moses was with God in the
cloud of His glory, the Israelites were
down below committing idolatry. Moses
didn’t know that because he couldn’t
see what was going on, but God could
see what the people were doing. And
the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get
thee down; for thy people, which
thou broughtest out of the land of
Egypt, have corrupted themselves:
They have turned aside quickly out
of the way which I commanded
Jesus said, For there is nothing
covered, that shall not be revealed;
neither hid, that shall not be known.
Therefore whatsoever ye have
spoken in darkness shall be heard
in the light; and that which ye have
spoken in the ear in closets shall
be proclaimed upon the housetops
(Luke 12:2,3). Jesus wants you to
know that nothing can be hidden from
God. He knows every word you speak,
whether it is good or bad; and He knows
every action you take.
You may think you can do something
in private, and no one will know about
it; but God knows all and sees all. You
can’t hide anything from Him. When Eve
was in the Garden of Eden, I’m sure she
thought she was visiting the forbidden
tree in secret; but that was not so. God
saw each time she went to that tree,
and He heard every conversation she
had with the serpent.
You may think you can hide things
from God, but you can’t hide anything
from Him. You may think you are getting
away with your secrets, but they will
be uncovered one day. For God shall
bring every work into judgment,
