into (scal year) 2022,” said Rob Turner, the authority’s

Park 12 Cobb Cinemas, a 12-screen theater located at 2925
W. Frank Gordy Parkway in East Cobb closed in early 2021.
e MDJ reported in July the shuttered location will be converted
into a storage facility, following approval of a zoning
application from the Cobb Board of Commissioners.
In the arts world, owner Dave Knoke announced in the fall
that Knoke Fine Arts, Marietta’s renowned purveyor of American
paintings, will shutter its doors in 2022.
At age 84, proprietor Knoke said it’s time to hang it up aer
some 50 years in the art world.
Knoke and Debbie Charter, his longtime business partner,
spent decades traveling the country and developing an anity
for 19th and 20th-century American paintings. eir careers
span from the days when Southern and folk art was regarded
