annual home tour brought in enough to build four homes during a special VIP party in October.
Over the past three years, the Lake Oconee
Showcase of Homes has raised enough
funds for Greene County Habitat for
Humanity to build six homes for families
in need of safe, affordable homes.
This year, the fourth annual home
tour raised enough to build four.
The news of the most successful fundraising
event to date was announced in
October during a celebration to kick
off the Showcase of Homes tour and
to thank top sponsors, homeowners,
Habitat board members and Showcase
committee members who came
together to once again “Raise the Roof”
for Greene County Habitat.
The VIP event, hosted by DreamBuilt
and Black Sheep Interiors, was held at
the home of Steve and Jamie Noles.
Shauna Winters, chair of the Showcase

The Rev. Joseph Nunnally, chairman

of directors, thanked the Showcase
committee members for their tireless
efforts in crafting the event into
“smooth operating machine.”
“We are better together,” he says.
“When each individual brings something

mission and that’s what this Showcase
is about – people on a mission to make

Nunnally says since 1996, Greene
