At a time when most Americans were slogging through the
uncertainty of an ongoing pandemic, Markecia Dudley was expanding
her business horizons. She made the decision to take her skills as a
certified nail technician on the road in a specially converted vehicle last
summer, and she says it’s been a hugely positive shift.
Nicole Acrylics now inhabits an eight-passenger shuttle bus that
Dudley can use to host one or several customers looking to indulge in
self care. She travels to people’s homes as needed, and she has found
that they have appreciated the ease of the situation, especially during
the past year of social distancing.
