CHOOSE YOUR OWN
At North Cobb Christian School, students customize their own educational experience.
Imagine a high school where students can major in an area of study similarly to college,
customizing courses that build towards their futures. Through the unique NCCS Academies at
North Cobb Christian School in Kennesaw, students in ninth through twelfth grade can craft an
individualized academic experience by selecting one of five tracks -- like having five magnet
programs under one roof.
Five Academy options are available to students, from STEM to the arts. The STEM Academy
offers a rigorous program that prepares students to pursue advanced degrees in science,
technology, engineering and mathematics. The Academy of the Arts offers vocal, instrumental,
theatrical and visual arts tracks, with exclusive performance opportunities. The Academy of
Business exposes students to corporate arenas and prepares them to become innovators in the
realm of business. The Academy of Counseling, Ministry and Education (ACME) equips students
for people-oriented and relationally centered careers. Finally, the Academy of Exercise and
Sports Science covers the business and healthcare aspects of sports management and athleticrelated
fields. Academy students experience next-level courses, real-world internships and
capstone projects.
“At NCCS, we help students discover their unique gifts,” says NCCS Upper School Principal
Megan Strange. “Psalm 139:14 is the inspiration for the NCCS Academies: ‘I praise you for I am
fearfully and wonderfully made.’ Every student is unique, and we believe that their education
should be, as well."
