As seen on the PBS TV special “A Ride Along the Lincoln
Highway,” these 1930’s cottages were kept as original as

The Coffee Pot in Bedford is an example of programmatic
architecture. Originally a lunch stand, it was built in the shape
of a coffee pot by David Koontz in 1927. It was threatened with
demolition in the 1990s, but in 2003 was moved across the street and restored.
