Blue Knob All Seasons Resort
The highest skiable mountain in PA is right
here in Bedford County! Blue Knob All Seasons
Resort has 34 trails with 3 lifts, a tubing park
and snowboarding area. 25 minutes NW of
Bedford. 1424 Overland Pass, Claysburg, PA 16625.

Whitetail Mountain Resort
Located about 50 minutes east of Breezewood,
just south of Mercersburg. Take I-70 E into
Maryland. Take MD Exit 18, then turn left off
exit ramp. Go through the traffic light in Clear
Spring, MD. Follow the snowflake and Whitetail
signs 7 miles to the slopes. Call 717-328-9400 for more information.
Seven Springs
Located an hour west of Bedford. Take Rt. 31 W toward Somerset. Approximately
7 miles after Somerset turn left at Trent Rd. Follow Trent Rd. approximately 4
miles. Turn right onto Countyline Rd. Seven Springs will be 5 miles ahead on

Cross Country
The golf course at Blue Knob Resort is a good spot for obstacle free
cross country skiing in a mountain surrounding. For more information

For intermediate to expert cross country skiing try Blue Knob State Park for
more challenging trails. Call 814-276-3576 for more information.
For an easy 3.5 mile loop, try the Lake Shore Trail at Shawnee State Park. This 10 ft
wide path, also used for bikes, is kept free of obstacles. Excellent scenery on an

Also, Buchanan and Gallitzin State Forests have several miles of trails for horseback riding.
