BTB EDUCATION INITIATIVE
Accredited Businesses go above and beyond adhering to BBB's Standards for Trust. They also
invest, through their annual dues, in BBB's Marketplace Education Initiative, which teaches these
standards for trust and ethics to others.
Through BBB's Marketplace Education Initiative, BBB takes vital information into middle schools,
high schools, and college campuses, BBB has a memorandum of understanding with every branch
of the military and brings programs onto their bases. BBB cares for the senior population and heips
them discern the trustworthy business owner from the fraudster. People who are returning to the
workforce—and their future employers—will benefit from the teaching that BBB offers through
Marketplace Education Initiative.
PROGRAMS
TEEN SMART
BBB wants to equip our future leaders with enough
consumer knowledge to avoid learning from life's
school of hard knocks. Who will fall into the credit
pits and who will survive the wild claims? We
examine some of both within the safe walls of the
classroom to help prepare students for life in the real
world.
