Ulano QX5 Ultra-Fast-Exposing SBQ-Photopolymer Emulsion (Blue)
QX-5 Blue is a universal, ready-to-use, fast-exposing SBQ-photopolymer direct emulsion. Its relatively high viscosity (5000 cps) and solids content
(41%) result in better mesh bridging on coarse mesh, and fast drying. Its high contrast blue color affords easy stencil inspection. QX-5 Blue is
resistant to a wide variety of solvent-based inks, making it easy to reclaim in automatic stencil removal equipment or by hand. Stencils made with
QX-5 Blue are extremely durable and will not become tacky under high humidity conditions. QX-5 Blue is formulated to reduce stencil-making time
(coating, drying, and exposure) for high-volume shops.
Ulano QXO Ultra-Fast-Exposing SBQ Solvent Resistant Emulsion (Orange)
QXO is a ready-to-use, fast-exposing SBQ photopolymer direct emulsion. QXO is formulated with anti-halation enhanced resolution. Which reduces
light scattering (which causes loss of resolution). It is possible to use less costly white mesh without the closing up of fine lines and details.
Works best with LED exposure units as well as fluorescent tubes or other low intensity light sources. QXO also has high viscosity that improves
control when coating by hand. Its high solids content (44-46%) results in better mesh bridging especially on coarse mesh and also has good
edge definition and fast drying. QXO has durable stencils will not become tacky under high humidity conditions.

PROCLAIM EC
DIAZO-FREE, DUAL-CURE EMULSION
Ulano Proclaim EC (Blue)
Ulano Proclaim EC is a ready-to-use, diazo-free, dual-cure emulsion that eliminates diazo mixing, stirring, and de-bubbling. This breakthrough
technology is formulated to provide unequaled exposure latitude and ease of decoating, even if underexposed and used with aggressive inks and
solvents. Proclaim EC is fast exposing and provides good acutance. Plus, a high solid content (37%) provides good stencil build per coat, excellent
mesh bridging, and quick drying. Proclaim EC has superb coating properties and durability, and is resistant to all solvent-based inks, as well as
waterbased UV-cured inks. It's ideal for general graphics, plus textile and industrial applications.
TIP: CHOOSING THE RIGHT EMULSION
Many printers prefer to use a SBQ Photopolymer Direct Emulsion. There is no mixing and can be used directly out of the container. In the printing
process it lasts longer (won’t have to purchase as often). Fast exposing which means it is also the most light sensitive. Tends to create a thinner
stencil because of the solid content can be up to 50%. Less coats per screen and thus less pinholes.
Dual-Cure Emulsions combine the benefits of both the photopolymer and the diazo emulsion. Contents must be stirred together with diazo.
Dual-Cure is forgiving like a diazo emulsion. Works well with solvent (plastisol) and water based inks.
Diazo Emulsions are the least expensive emulsion available. They are recommended for beginning screen printers because of its price and educational use
of two part emulsions. It is very forgiving during the exposing process.
