of thine heart. For they are life unto
those that find them, and health to
all their flesh (Proverbs 4:20–22).
Paul Never Let Go
Paul endured great suffering on
this Earth, but he never let go of God’s
plan for him. The Lord said to Paul,
My grace is sufficient for thee: for
my strength is made perfect in
weakness (II Corinthians 12:9). You
too must be determined to follow God’s
plan and defeat the devil.
Trust God’s plan.
divine blood, and you will be all right.
You must have confidence in the
Lord, your God, and hold on to it. The
Bible says, Cast not away therefore
your confidence, which hath great
recompence of reward (Hebrews
10:35). You must keep your confidence
in God and love the Lord with all your
heart. With His loving arms around you,
you will always make it.
Jesus, the Word
Jesus came to Earth as a man and
walked the same paths we are to
walk, and He gave us what we need
to follow them. He walked through
the same valleys, and He lived by the
same promises we are to live by. He
endured all kinds of torture and was
finally crucified on Calvary; but He held
on and defeated death, hell and the
grave for you and me. O death, where
is thy sting? O grave, where is thy
victory (I Corinthians 15:55)? Jesus
said, And ye shall know the truth,
and the truth shall make you free
(John 8:32).
Jesus was the Word made flesh. And
the Word was made flesh, and dwelt
among us, (and we beheld his glory,
the glory as of the only begotten of
the Father,) full of grace and truth
(John 1:14). That Word brought great
deliverance. It made unholy people holy,
and it gave righteous people the faith to
hold on to all the things of God they had
seen and heard.
There is no reason not to hold to
God when you have the Word to show
you the way. Thy word is a lamp
unto my feet, and a light unto my
path (Psalm 119:105). Hide it in your
heart and let it bring life to your body
and soul. My son, attend to my
words; incline thine ear unto my
sayings. Let them not depart from
thine eyes; keep them in the midst
Paul said, I know whom I have
believed, and am persuaded that
he is able to keep that which I
have committed unto him against
that day (II Timothy 1:12). Take that
scripture to heart and let it get rid of
all your fear and despair and give you
strength to hold on. Paul knew he had
nothing more to commit to God, and he
knew God would take care of him just
as He did His Only Begotten Son.
Paul tells us to prove all things;
hold fast that which is good
(I Thessalonians 5:21). Hold on to
God’s unchanging hand, and you will
never walk alone. He the Lord hath
said, I will never leave thee, nor
forsake thee (Hebrews 13:5). You
must walk hand in hand with the Lord
every day you have left on this Earth.
Never Doubt God
Noah didn’t let go of the plan of God
even though it was a plan of separation
and endurance and one that would
take a lot of strength to complete. He
and his family were surrounded by
evil persecutors, but they stayed holy
before God and worked many hours
to build an ark. And God said unto
