Helping God Make
a Miracle

changed. And seven priests shall bear before
the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns: and
the seventh day ye shall compass the city
seven times, and the priests shall blow with
the trumpets. And it shall come to pass,
that when they make a long blast with the
ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of
the trumpet, all the people shall shout with
a great shout; and the wall of the city shall

That plan didn’t make any sense whatsoever
to the human mind. How could the people
possibly defeat Jericho by simply marching
around the city walls in silence each day?

the wall fell down flflflflat, flat, so that the people

For what if some did not believe? shall
their unbelief make the faith of God without
effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true,
but every man a liar (Romans 3:3,4). The
whole world may doubt that miracles are real,
but what counts is whether or not you believe
in miracles. If you have divine faith in God,
no devil or man can keep you from receiving
from the hand of God.
When you stand on the faith of God, the
world may think you are foolish; but God
doesn’t. He is proud when He sees you using
your faith and putting your trust in Him. How
do you know if you have faith in God?—by
how you handle the difficult situations you
face in life. Do you have an emotional breakdown,
or do you look to Jesus for strength?
Do you use your faith to overcome?
Jesus must be the rock and the foundation
that your life is built upon, and that kind of
foundation is made up of the pure, divine faith
made available through the blood of Jesus.
Christians with that kind of faith are a minority
in this world, and many think that those
who step out in faith are foolish.
Faith and Obedience Conquered Jericho
The people of Jericho, no doubt, thought the
Israelite soldiers were foolish when they were
marching in silence around the walls of their
city day after day, but that is what God had
instructed Joshua to have them do; and they
were marching by faith. And the LORD said
unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine
hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the
mighty men of valour. And ye shall compass
the city, all ye men of war, and go round
about the city once. Thus shalt thou do
